The Little Red Dress Tea Party & Siposium
is an annual event devoted to increasing awareness about
heart disease. Sisterbration (and the Little Red
Dress Tea Party & Siposium) is a partner of Go
Red for Women, a national awareness campaign for
women's heart health, sponsored by the American Heart
Association. Through this event, we build awareness
that one in three women dies from heart disease….and
it's the #1 killer of African American women. Sisterbration
pairs this message with an arresting visual that captures
women's attention – a red dress.
The opportunity to gather exceptional African American
women throughout Alabama (in Birmingham, Dothan, Montgomery,
and Tuskegee) has made this a can’t-miss business
event. Our Wellness Expo features hair consultations,
makeovers, health education, and product demonstrations
for event attendees. This and all other Sisterbration
event offers a one-of-a-kind forum for health, beauty,
and lifestyle organizations and companies to meet and
interact with a captive audience of consumers in a creative
and cost-effective manner.
Sisterbration participants are savvy, informed consumers
seeking products and services that help them honor their
